Portaging Direction: From the Kawishiwi River downstream to the Kawishiwi River
This portage landing is as nice as you'll find. If the water is lower, the water is too shallow for even a lightly loaded canoes draft, so you will have to walk your boat into shore.
Easy portage. Simple as that.
The landing on this end is also very good. From here, you would head to the left (which is downstream).
