It is possible that this campsite replaces Campsite 1895, which was directly across the lake. Currently (as of 2023), do not have a number for this site. The campsite is probably best suited for hikers, but there is a canoe landing too. It's a bit of a climb up to the actual campsite from both the lake and the Angleworm Trail. There seems to be two tent pads. The latrine is up the hill a ways and well situated for privacy. The fire pit has limited views of the lake. The whole campsite is rather open, not a lot of underbrush, so it is easy to move around. This campsite is better than any of those in the southwest corner of Angleworm Lake (further south down the trail/lake).

If you are coming to this campsite with a canoe, this is the landing. It is actually slightly down the trail to the north from the campsite. You may wish to leave the canoe here, as it is a fairly steep slope up to the campsite. If you need water, this is the easiest place to get it while staying at this campsite.
