This is a list of the 12 Primitive Management Areas (PMA) in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA). Each PMA is named after one of the lakes found in that PMA zone. PMA's are scattered throughout the BWCA and make up about 1/8 of the entire area of this wilderness.
