This BWCA campsite can be found just south of the large bend in Bald Eagle Lake's western shoreline. It is about 1-mile north/northwest of the mouth of the Isabella River.

This campsite doesn't see a lot of visitors. It's a fairly small campsite and is rather minimalist. The landing is rocky, but not difficult. There is a large tent pad close to the shoreline. From the landing, following a trail through the brush up to the location of the fire grate. Very little of the lake from near the fire grate, which is enclosed by a perimeter of brush. Bugs could be an issue at this campsite. There is one additional small tent pad next to the fire grate. Brushy trail leading back to the latrine.
The landing is made of thousands of small rocks. Not a difficult place to beach your watercraft.
From the landing, follow a trail back into the woods to the campsite. The trail starts at that jumble of rocks visible just left of center.
Very compact kitchen area. This campsite doesn't get used often.

It's a rather brushy walk back to this old fella. This can looked pretty worn. Probably been at it's post for decades.
