This campsite is difficult to see from the lake. Look for the two stands of triple-trunked cedar trees. This is a rather poor campsite. Would do in a pinch for those arriving late or those wanting to get an early exit the next day. One (maybe two) tent pads. Only one log bench for sitting. Not much of a view of the lake from the fire pit area. Could be buggy due to a lack of cross-breeze. Latrine is up a hill down a short, overgrown path.
Look for that triple-trunked cedar tree to find this campsite from the lake. Paddling up to the rocky landing at this campsite.
Two places to land canoes at this campsite, neither is very good. This is the one to the left of the triple-trunked cedar tree as you face the lake.
This is the landing to the right of the triple-trunked cedar tree. This side seemed a little better.
Canoe parking area down by the lake. Note the two sets of triple-trunked cedar stands. Look for these from the lake if you are trying to find this campsite. The campsite is not easy to see when out on the water. The fire grate is up a trail (behind you from this viewpoint) and is not visible from the lake.
The kitchen as you approach it from the lake. Only one decent sitting log. The log on the left is rotted out.
