A brief walk around the campsite located on the east end of Mile Island. Sandy beach for swimming. Also makes for easy canoe landing. Fire grate is tucked into the woods and is in a shady location. This is a large campsite and can accomodate a maximum BWCA group size. Seating around the fire grate was mighty sparse at time of last visit (2018).
This campsite is located very near the north tip of Mile Island. It is due west of Charlie's Island. From the campsite you will have good views to the east, south and southwest.

Like the other campsites on Mile Island, this one has a fantastic sandy beach. This is looking to the northeast. These campsites are popular with motorboat users.
