Intersection of Brule Lake Trail and Eagle Mountain Trail near Whale Lake

A somewhat obscure sign (just right of center) marks the intersection of the Brule Lake Trail and the Eagle Mountain Trail. The Brule Lake Trail is much more difficult to follow then the heavily visited Eagle Mountain Trail. From here, the much more obvious Eagle Mountain Trail begins to climb steeply. The Brule Lake Trail meanders off into the forest in the direction of Brule Lake.
