North Hegman Lake to Little Bass Lake Portage 1
This little inlet bordered by brush offers a perfect landing spot.



While the portage is on the long-ish side, it is otherwise not difficult. It does meander up and down a few small hills, but the tread of the trail is in good condition .

There is a really good landing when you reach Little Bass Lake.

The mud you see here is easily avoided. Much of this landing is also sand and small rocks.



The portage is between 140 rods and 180 rods depending on the map you're using. There are a few hills, but the overall condition of the trail is sound.

This small inlet serves as a nice landing location on this end of the portage.
