Mostly small rocks and cobbles here. Makes for a good overall landing spot.

Good trail through a lowland forest populated with lots of spruce. Mostly flat along its whole length with a total elevation gain in this direction of 9 feet. The U.S. Geological Survey has measured Brule Lake at 1834 feet above mean sea level and Juno Lake at 1843 feet above mean sea level.

Five star (maybe 4.5 stars) landing at Juno Lake.

Brule Lake to Juno Lake Portage 3
As you can see, getting ashore won't be too much trouble.

Nearly level trail through shady forest.

Brule Lake to Juno Lake Portage 4
While not as good as the Juno Lake end of the portage, not too shabby on the Brule Lake side either.

Now that you've made it over the portage, visit: BRULE LAKE
