The landing is set back in a little inlet. It is rocky here, the water is moderately deep and the bottom has mud and silt deposited over a rock substrate.



Quick little portage along the edge of a marsh. More like 10 rods. Many maps say its 5 rods long.

Landing is at the back of this channel that leads out to the lake through the reeds and grass. Landing is muddy, but otherwise fairly easy.

No photo of the landing going in this direction. The landing is at the back of the channel that runs through the reeds. Other than being a little muddy, the landing is otherwise solid.
